What is the GIFT?
The world is changing and education must change with it. There is a new way to inspire youth innovation that is impacting our world in ways that we never imagined, and we invite you to be a part of it.
Please allow me to introduce you to the Global Innovation Field Trip (GIFT), the 24-hour, live-streamed, multi-country collaboration, showcasing and celebrating young innovators and those who educate, inspire innovation.
Through GIFT, students are invited to present their stories of innovation at this prestigious event to their contemporaries, educators, and program leaders across the world, building their self-esteem, confidence and skill in verbal communication. Students are not only celebrated for their innovative achievements, but they are also afforded the unique opportunity to look at the world beyond their home communities as they observe presentations from other students from distant countries and cultures.
Exploring the world more closely than they have ever had the opportunity to in the past, students learn understanding, empathy and the rules and engagement. It is imperative we celebrate our young people for their innovative accomplishments and that we teach them the art of collaboration, and GIFT is designed to do just that.
There is no cost to the presenters or attendees of GIFT and the open, online platform ensures accessibility for students across the world is achievable.
Please join us in this initiative to support and inspire youth innovation across the world!
