Write a Book to Change the World

Education that empowers young people to take action — that’s the kind of learning activities we are always looking out for at wonderfullymadekids.com

Upschool.co is a great platform that does just that. Our children learn about many different problems in the world and all about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Teacher Gavin McCormack gives a FREE 10-week course on global citizenship, creative writing techniques, digital and creative design, and entrepreneurship. They partnered with Canva which is the platform they use to create the book. You can also get a free Canva for Education account as part of Upschool’s team. You can find the details here: https://upschool.co/canva/.

This course is open to ALL AGES — and if you have a positive message you want to share with the world, then enroll in this course and check out Upschool’s other FREE courses on their website.

Asher’s book called, “Home” is now published in the Upschool Library. Asher came up with the story and mommy helped him find the right elements in Canva to put together a picture book about polar bears and climate change. You can view it here: https://upschool.co/book/home/

Upschool also sets it up that you get to choose a favorite charitable cause when you upload your manuscript, and they get a donation for every purchase of the book. Asher chose to support the Jane Goodall Institute Australia in protecting the world’s animals, people, and environment.

You can also buy Asher’s picture book at Amazon. It’s priced at USD 8.88 to mark his 8th year in this world. Link to buy on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3sKg8tv

“The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” – Psalm 24:1

It is Asher’s hope that his book helps raise awareness by giving a voice to the polar bears and bringing about positive change by reminding us to take action against global warming which affects all of us.

Our young author presented his book to an international audience at the Global Innovation Field Trip (GIFT) | Innovation WorldInvent Future Global last October 16. 2022. GIFT is an on-line, 24-hour, multi-country collaboration, celebrating young innovators and those who educate, inspire and sponsor innovation. You can watch the video here: https://youtu.be/MULV9ljCnz4?t=331.

We want to thank all the wonderful people from Upschool and GIFT who continue to support students’ learning for young people all over the world.

All glory to God!
