“The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” – Psalm 24:1
Asher wrote “Home” with the hope that his book helps raise awareness by giving a voice to the polar bears and bringing about positive change by reminding us to take action against climate change which affects all of us. He came up with the story and mommy helped edit and find the right pictures for it in Canva. It was published right on time for his 8th birthday.

How to Write a Book to Change the World
Education that empowers young people to take action — that’s the kind of learning activities we are always looking out for at our WonderfullyMadeKids Homeschool.
Upschool.co is a great platform that does just that. Our children learn about many different problems in the world and all about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Teacher Gavin ❤️ McCormack gives a FREE 10-week course on global citizenship, creative writing techniques, digital and creative design, and entrepreneurship. They partnered with Canva which is the platform they use to create the book. You can also get a free Canva for Education account as part of Upschool’s team. You can find the details here: https://upschool.co/canva/.
This course is open to ALL AGES — and if you have a positive message you want to share with the world, then enroll in this course and check out Upschool’s other FREE courses on their website.
STORIES FOR CHANGE BOOK CLUB
Asher had an idea to take this project further. He wants to have a club called, “Stories for Change Book Club” so that other kids will also write their own books that help make a positive change and we can share them to each other.

He presented this idea at the 2022 Global Innovation Challenge hosted by Invent Future Global last November 12, 2022. He was awarded with the “Global Innovation Impact Award” for an innovation with the the most effective solution and the greatest impact on an issue or problem.

ALL GLORY TO GOD!
