{"id":2884,"date":"2022-03-10T16:47:35","date_gmt":"2022-03-10T13:47:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wonderfullymadekids.com\/?p=2884"},"modified":"2022-03-10T16:47:35","modified_gmt":"2022-03-10T13:47:35","slug":"art-for-peace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wonderfullymadekids.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/10\/art-for-peace\/","title":{"rendered":"Art For Peace"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Art for Peace<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;is a collaborative challenge between the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/innovationworld.org\/gift-home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Global Innovation Field Trip<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wonderfullymadekids.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wonderfully Made Kids<\/a>, providing students from across the world a platform to promote a peaceful world through their artwork.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coinciding with&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.unesco.org\/commemorations\/worldartday\" target=\"_blank\">World Art Day<\/a>&nbsp;(April 15) and&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/wciw.org\/celebrations\/saudi-arabia\/\" target=\"_blank\">World Creativity &amp; Innovation Week<\/a>&nbsp;(April 15-21) this initiative will showcase students&#8217; submissions at the April 23-24 Global Innovation Field Trip.&nbsp;This activity is also in support of the <a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.un.org\/goals\/goal16\">United Nations Sustainable Development Goal # 16<\/a> promoting peace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who is eligible to participate?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>K-12 students from all around the world are encouraged to participate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How will students participate?<\/strong>&nbsp;Students may use any artistic medium to create their art. Following are some examples of possible submissions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Image<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 can be an image of anything you have created that promotes a peaceful world, such as a painting, drawing, sculpture, craft, etc. (image format must be PDF, jpeg or png).<\/li><li><strong>Video<\/strong>&nbsp;(30 second maximum) \u2013 can be stop motion animation, a song, dance, poem, monologue, infomercial, public service announcement, etc. (video format must be a YouTube or Bilibili link set to public)<\/li><li><strong>Sound Recording<\/strong>&nbsp;(30 second maximum) \u2013 can be a song, poem, monologue, infomercial, public service announcement, etc.&nbsp; (sound format must be mp4 or wav)<\/li><li><strong>Other Media<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Just because it is not on this list does not mean you cannot submit it. As long as the end result is submitted by photo, video or sound recording and promotes a peaceful world we would love to include it!<\/li><li>All submissions must be family friendly.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UPDATE: This challenge has concluded.
